Accessibility statement
People often reach this site under stress, on a phone, or with assistive technology. We work to keep it usable for everyone.
Standard we aim for
We target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a practical benchmark. We are not claiming certification or a formal audit.
What we do
- Semantic headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate pages in order.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and descriptive link text.
- Visible keyboard focus and support for keyboard-only navigation.
- Color contrast checked against WCAG AA, with meaning never carried by color alone.
- Layouts that reflow on small screens and at increased zoom.
Known limitations
Some embedded third-party content, such as maps, is outside our control and may not meet the same standard. Where that happens, we provide the same information in text.
Report a barrier
If any part of this site is difficult to use, tell us what page and what happened and we will try to fix it or provide the information another way.
Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@mentalhealthresidential.org. We do not monitor email for emergencies.
